Its origin traces to a self-replicating image that first appeared as Stamp #4258, echoed across 104 stamps (#4258–#18430), and encoded KEVIN’s mint instruction in Stamp #18,516. Unlike ephemeral inscriptions, KEVIN lives forever in Bitcoin’s UTXO set, making it both artwork and fungible token on the Stamps protocol.
