Security (servers, private keys):
We implement a multi-layered security approach to ensure the highest level of protection for our validator infrastructure. Our servers are hosted in secure, top-tier data centers with robust physical and network security measures, including DDoS protection, firewalls, and VPNs for encrypted connections. Private keys are stored using hardware security modules (HSMs) to safeguard against unauthorized access, and we employ multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all critical operations. Additionally, all sensitive data is encrypted both at rest and in transit, with regular audits and security reviews in place.
Monitoring and alerting:
Our validator nodes are monitored 24/7 using advanced monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana for real-time performance tracking and health checks. We have set up custom alerting systems that notify our team immediately via email, SMS, and other communication channels if any irregularities, performance degradation, or security threats are detected. This includes alerts for CPU, memory usage, network latency, block production, and potential slashing risks. Our team is prepared to respond to incidents promptly, ensuring high uptime and reliability of our validators.
We actively participate in protocol governance by thoroughly researching and analyzing each proposal. Our decisions are based on prioritizing the long-term security, decentralization, and growth of the network.
We engage with our community and delegators to ensure their perspectives are considered in our votes. In cases of conflicts of interest, we may choose to abstain to maintain transparency and integrity.
