<h2 class="wp-block-heading">💪 ETH Stakers Remain Resolute</h2>



Staking on Ethereum isn’t showing signs of slowing down, despite the current market downturn.



$187M worth of ETH has been staked over the past 24 hours, contributing to a total of $3.35B ETH staked over the past 30 days. These numbers show high conviction in the network.

A byproduct of the continued growth in Ethereum staking, has been a decrease in the annualized average Reward Rate. Over the past 90 days the Reward Rate has almost halved, from being 8.05% on 21 May, down to 4.46% at present.



Ethereum briefly entered deflationary territory again last week, reaching a -0.02% deflation rate for the first time in almost two months.

Negative inflation (Deflation) happens when the Ethereum network is burning more ETH from transaction fees than is being rewarded to stakers through inflation alone.



The point at which Ethereum will become deflationary again, and for how long, remains to be seen. It will be interesting to see how the increase in staked ETH effects transactional volumes (and ETH inflation rate) over time.

The chart below shows the Inflation Rates of the top 10 POS Assets by Staking Market Cap.



Currently the only two deflationary assets are <a href="https://beta.stakingrewards.com/asset/binance-smart-chain?category=pos&amp;sort=staked_tokens&amp;timeframe=30d&amp;order=desc&amp;search=" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">BNB</a> (-6.17%) and <a href="https://beta.stakingrewards.com/asset/tron?category=pos&amp;sort=staked_tokens&amp;timeframe=30d&amp;order=desc&amp;search=" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">TRX</a> (-5.57%).

A new feature that was recently added allows you sort validators on any individual POS network by their Net Change in Staked Tokens over the past 7 days. Take a look for yourself, simply <a href="https://beta.stakingrewards.com/assets/proof-of-stake?sort=staking_marketcap&amp;timeframe=7d&amp;order=desc&amp;search=" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">select your Asset of choice</a>, scroll down to the “Explore &amp; Discover Providers” section, then sort by “Net Staking Flow 7d&#8221;.

The Net Staking Flow 7d metric indicates the net change in staked tokens over the past 7 days for a specific validator, converted into USD using the current asset price.



It&#8217;s calculated by subtracting the number of unstaked tokens from the number of staked tokens.



A positive value signifies an increase in staked tokens, suggesting growing interest in the reward option. Conversely, a negative value might indicate a decrease in confidence or interest. Since this metric is expressed in USD, it allows for easy comparison between different assets.
