The Oasis Network is supported by an amazing community of validators and infrastructure providers. Many provide services to help you set up your own validator node and/or make delegation easy.

In addition to using the Oasis CLI, there are number of wallets, Ledger GUIs and Custodians support staking and delegation on the Oasis Network. Those include:

With this article we will walk through the steps to delegate tokens from the Bitpie mobile wallet.

Step 1 – Download and create Wallet

Download BitPie wallet (Android & iOS) and create your wallet. Then choose the ROSE wallet system!

      Step 2 – Deposit & Escrow ROSE

You can see your ROSE dashboard and your ROSE wallet address. To see the deposit address click “Receive” & make your deposit to your wallet. To stake your ROSE tokens, click “Escrow” after the deposit.

      Step 3 – Choose a Validator

You can see all validators in the “Escrow” tab. Please pick one and tab on it. You can see all validators for Oasis on the Staking Rewards ROSE profile.

When choosing a validator to delegate your ROSE tokens, make sure to look at the commission rate which has a direct impact on your rewards being paid out. Low Commission = High Rewards.

However please note that commission rates are the bread and butter for many validators. They rely on it to maintain reliable operations.

Furthermore, it is important to make sure that the selected validator is able to maintain a solid close to 100% uptime for their services.

You may want to consider delegating to smaller validators in order to further decentralize the network. This does not only support the network resilience, but also the value of your ROSE investment longterm.

At Staking Rewards we have pre-vetted a bunch of validators in Oasis Network. Browse through the list of validators and search for the verified badge. These validators are registered with Staking Rewards and are considered reliable. Please note that any validator is free to get in touch with us to get verified. We are not affiliated with any of them and thrive to provide an independent ranking.

      Step 4 – Submit Delegation

Check out the details of the validator you selected and enter how many ROSE you want to stake and submit.

      Step 5 – Verify Transaction

Bitpie will ask for your PIN code or biometric verification for the transaction. Enter your PIN code & proceed.

      Step 6 – Unstake ROSE

You can always debond your staked ROSE. To unstake, click on “My Escrow” and click your validator’s name. Write down how many ROSE you want to unstake and submit. That’s all. Your debonding process will start. The debonding process will take approximately 14 days and your tokens will be back with staking rewards to your wallet. You can see the details about this process under the “Debonding” tab.

Please note, that you may not see your staking reward amount inside of the Bitpie application. Please visit Oasisscan and search for your address in order to see the rewards.
