Our team, led by CEO Charles Allen and COO Michal Handerhan, has extensive experience in the blockchain technology industry, starting from 2014. Additionally, our CTO has more than 15 years devops experience. Originally, BTCS operated as an e-commerce platform, allowing customers to make online purchases using cryptocurrencies. As the first US public company to employ a bitcoin mining strategy, we have since shifted our focus to building and operating validator nodes for next-generation proof-of-stake blockchains.
