What is Everstake?

Everstake is the biggest decentralized staking provider, trusted by 735,000 users. For the past six years, the company has used enterprise-level hardware to run over 11000 nodes for 70+ blockchain networks, including Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, Polygon, Aptos, Celestia, Injective, etc. Everstake employs 125+ experts worldwide and has been heavily involved in developing complex blockchain products, such as Metaplex. Everstake is heavily involved in the development of a better user experience for our delegators which is why we’ve produced and audited the smart contract that allows anyone to stake as little as 0.1 ETH.

How do you handle Governance Decisions?

We have separate dedicated teams that manage various networks. When need to make a governance decision the first step for our team is to precisely and carefully study all nuances and changes. Check how it may influence the ecosystem and project whether it will have short/long-term positive or negative consequences. The second step is to study how our delegators and community as a whole react to the changes, then we proceed to discuss all these pros and cons. All our decisions are well-communicated and always are for the benefit of the ecosystem.

What is your Infrastructure Security Setup?

Our infrastructure consists of more than 400 servers hosted by different hosting providers (Hetzner, Upcloud, Scaleway, Equinix, GCP, AWS, Linode).

To select the infrastructure for a specific blockchain, we are primarily guided by the requirements, the specifics of the network, and vast experience in launching and configuring various projects.

We only execute all the best practices to secure our infrastructure: drop-all/allow-specific firewall, ssh-key only authentication, OS-hardening, least privilege principle for all team members, configuration and change management tracking, disaster recovery procedures, and we do our internal security testing before launching any service to production.
