Learn about Puffer
What is Puffer?
Puffer is the first native Liquid Restaking Protocol (nLRP) built on EigenLayer. It introduces native Liquid Restaking Tokens (nLRTs) that accrue PoS and restaking rewards. Nodes within the protocol leverage Puffer’s anti-slashing technology to enjoy reduced risk and increased capital efficiency, while supercharging their rewards through restaking exposure.
What is your teams expertise / track record?
Team Track Record
Our team boasts a rich blend of expertise and a proven track record in Blockchain, with members who have previously been part of Chainlink and NASA. Among us are engineers specialized in Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP) and Trusted Execution Environments (TEE), who are deeply committed to advancing security measures while simultaneously enhancing user experience.
What is your Infrastructure Security Setup?
Puffer’s Secure-Signer, backed by an Ethereum Foundation grant, will prevent users from producing slashable messages on Ethereum Proof of Stake. Secure-Signer can also be modified to prevent slashing on native re-staking on EigenLayer AVSs.
Puffer Guardians ensure the liveliness of the node operators until EIP 7002 is implemented into the Ethereum Protocol.
How do you handle Governance Decisions?
Puffer’s governance is under construction.
