Essentia Staking

Essentia is a masternode powered blockchain that enables interoperability and cross-chain transactions. It is an ‘all-in-one platform’ that manages all things crypto. With Essentia users can: trade, swap, and add liquidity. Integrated with L2 transactions via zk-SNARKs sdk and Starkware. Essentia is designed to be Simple. Secure. and Decentralized.

In order to start staking, the first step for you will be to set up the Essentia native node. A Masternode can’t stake, but you can start staking on your control node.

Then, moving on to the Staking itself. Please check if you have a required sum of ESS coins (at least 10,000 ESS coins).

Run the ess-cli to enable staking as described here.

Staking can sometimes take up to 30 minutes to start working even after all the conditions are marked true.

Your wallet should receive staking rewards automatically, however, the wallet itself has to be open and connected to the internet.
